Cordion

Cordion members Tommy Jansen and Christopher Johansen are both from Oslo, Norway. They have since childhood been pretty obsessed with music, thus leading them into various musical projects seperately before they met in 1999 and started this project. They soon hit their stride; by mixing acoustic instruments and vocals with electronic sounds and noise, and by combining traditional songwriting with more experimenting production techniques, they hope to push things forward musically in terms of expanding the genre.

Tommy programs and plays all instruments except strings. Christopher sings and write lyrics. They bring in help from talented friends where needed and required.

Musical influences varies from artists and composers in all genres from classical to glitchy electronic music.

Live-setting is a 5 piece ensemble consisting of electronics, accordion, guitar, piano, harmonium, cello, viola and vocals.
