Helge Tømmervåg from Kristiansund on the west coast of Norway has been working with electronic music since the early 80's, and he debuted on Beatservice with the Elektrical Activity EP-series in 1995.

Since his last album on Beatservice, Monopoly (2006), he has released albums and EP’s on small lables in limited amounts, some only as CD-R's with hand-made covers.

Update is, as the title indicates, an update of what Mind over MIDI has been doing the last years, it's a selection of tracks recorded and released 2006-2014 on lables like Silent Season, Diametric Music, Entropy Records, Nbar, Sutemos, and Helge's own Berserk Fabrik. All tracks are re-produced from the original two tracks, updated with synthdetails and effects, and deepened by stunning mastering from Taylor Deupree.
