Upper Rooms aka Isak Anderssen er klassisk skolert musiker som vanligvis jobber som dirigent, komponist, musiker og cello-instruktør. Men Upper Rooms er i et ganske annet hjørne av det musikalske spekteret. Dette prosjektet er inspirert av blant annet den tyske electro scenen, åttitalls synth pop, Kraftwerk, The Residents, drum'n'bass, Aphex Twin, Patrick Pulsinger, Erdem Tunakam samt Rephlex og Warp utgivelser. Upper Rooms jobber med det enkle og umiddelbare, til tider naivistisk, men alltid med en solid base i det melodiske. Hans debut-album er tilgjengelig både på CD og LP, med eksklusive spor på begge formatene. Pressebilder finnes her. | Upper Rooms aka Isak Anderssen is a classical trained musician, working full time as a conductor, composer, musician and cello instructor. But Upper Rooms is in quite a different corner of the musical spectre. This project is inspired by a.o the german electro scene, eighties synth pop, Kraftwerk, The Residents, drum'n'bass, Aphex Twin, Patrick Pulsinger, Erdem Tunakam and Rephlex and Warp releases. Upper Rooms deals with the simple and the immediate, at times naivistic, but always with a firm base in melody. The debut album is availiable both as CD and LP, with exclusive tracks on each format.
