| Upper Rooms is the musical child of Isak Andersen, with inspiration drawn from a/o the German electro scene, eighties synth pop, and new experimental electronica. His debut album Video Bambino (2000) was a product of all of his inspirations. But the new album is focused more on electro, and is a result of Upper Rooms' love of European 80's music. Isak Andersen's characteristic production of catchy electro, disco and synth pop, points as much to the future as to the past. This EP consists of the four most dancefloor oriented tracks from the album; the catchy Kraftwerk-homage Trans Balkan Express, an extended disco mix of Disco Triste, plus the electro tracks Electro Beats For All Your Defeats and Crystal Builder on the b-side. The EP is printed in a limited run of 300 copies! |
